My favorite type of travel would most definitely be “All-Inclusive.” I am a very money conscious person, some call me “cheap” but I prefer money conscious! 🙂 The fact that I don’t have to worry about what any thing costs once I get to my resort is such a huge benefit for me, because I would stress the whole time about what everything costs. This way if the kids want 99 orders of french fries and room service 3 times a day I really don’t care!

I went on my first “true” family vacation when my children were in junior high school. By “true” vacation I should explain that a trip to the zoo was considered a vacation when I was growing up. We also got to go to Alabama every year to visit my grandma and my aunts. It was a 15 hour drive with only one eight track to listen to over and over again, it was Kenny Rogers, needless to say I know every word to all of the songs on that eight track! My mother-in-law was kind enough to treat our entire family to a trip to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. It was life changing for me, literally. Not only did we have the time of our lives, but it gave me a burning desire to travel more! I remember looking out into the ocean thinking, this truly makes my heart happy! So it wasn’t that long afterward that I became a travel expert so that I could help others, “Go where your heart takes you!”
